Each article will be peer reviewed for quality, compliance and clarity. Peer reviewers will review articles to:
Make sure the data is relevant to the U.N. SDGs in general and our ecosystem priorities
Check the documentation to ensure it is complete and aligns with our publishing guidelines
Check the data to make sure it is what it is reported to be and that it has been cleaned and prepared according to our journal’s guidelines
Screen for privacy concerns, including PII, and ensure appropriate steps have been taken to balance privacy and usefulness
The peer review process will be single blind, international style, meaning that the submitter does not know who the reviewers are. Where appropriate, the editor may also conduct a double blind review where neither the reviewer nor the submitter know who the other is.
